Find your way around TrakkHQ

What each page in the main menu is for, and where to find Help and Sky.

For office

The menu runs across the top of every office page. Pages for features your company hasn't switched on are left out, and so is a dropdown with nothing left in it.

  • Dashboard: today's jobs, who's on shift, and how drivers are going this week.
  • Tracking: a live map of your trucks, with how many are moving, stopped or offline.
  • Operations: the ops board. Book, move and edit jobs by driver and day.
  • Email parser: customers' booking emails. Read one to see what would be booked, then book it.
  • Approvals: changes and bookings TrakkHQ has suggested, waiting for a person to approve.
  • Invoices: finished jobs to check and send to Xero.
  • Timesheets: hours for drivers and mechanics.
  • Mechanics: truck issues, servicing, rego, the expiry calendar and pre-start checks.
  • Help: these guides.
  • Business menu: Clients (your customers and their set-up), Pricing (every client's prices as an invoice dated today would charge them), Leads (your sales list) and Search (find an old job or invoice).
  • System menu: Changes (post and track requests for changes), Digest (a summary of the last 7, 14 or 30 days), Flags (what is switched on right now), System Upgrades (features and fixes added to TrakkHQ), Tasks (the office task list) and ⚙ Settings.

On the right of the top bar are the 🔔 notifications (new driver ideas, rego coming due and open changes), the light and dark switch, and Logout.

Sky, the assistant, is the round Sky button in the bottom left corner of office pages, when your company has it. On Operations, if your board has the slim side rail on the left (Needs you, Trucks, Unassigned), Sky is the last icon on the rail. See Ask Sky.

Common questions

A page I've heard about isn't in my menu.

The menu only shows pages for features your company has switched on. An admin can check under Settings. See [Something's missing or not working](/help/something-not-working).

Do admins see a different menu?

No. Every office login gets the same menu. Your role decides what you can change on each page, and some parts of Settings are for admins only.

What are the little numbers on the menu?

Things waiting for you. Email parser counts booking emails to check, Approvals counts cards to decide, and Changes counts open requests. A dropdown shows the total of what's inside it.

Where has the menu gone on my phone?

On a narrow screen it folds into the ☰ button at the top left. Tap it to open the menu.
