Ask Sky

What Sky, the assistant, can look up and set up for you, and what it won't do.

For office · Feature: AI agents

Sky reads your live jobs and the booking emails that come in, and answers in plain words.

  1. Press Sky in the bottom left of any office page. On the Operations side rail it's the last icon, and in the ops app on a phone look for the Ask Sky tab.
  2. Type in Ask a question… and press Ask.
  3. Sky answers from what it finds. Job numbers, names and dates are given exactly as they are on the job. If it doesn't have the answer, it says so.

What you can ask

  • Jobs: "What's on tomorrow?", "Any jobs without a driver?", "Who's still out on the road?"
  • Emails: who wrote, when, and what they said, quoted word for word.
  • How to do something in TrakkHQ: answered from these guides, with a link to the one it used.
  • Heavy vehicle law: hours and breaks, mass and dimensions, oversize loads, load restraint, chain of responsibility and more. Sky answers from the compliance rules and gives the sources.

Setting up changes (admins and schedulers, when your company has it on)

Ask Sky to look at an email that wants another truck, to take a stop off or add one, to change the driver's instructions, the reference or a contact, or to get the times from GPS for a job a driver didn't finish. Sky puts a card on Approvals. Cards waiting for you also show at the top of the Sky panel, so you can approve them there or press Open in Approvals.

Depending on your set-up, Sky can also put a change card right in the chat, for a job's time, date, truck type or driver, a cancellation, a new booking, booking a waiting email, or a text to a driver. Check the card, then press its button (Apply, Cancel this job, Create this booking, Book this email or Send).

What Sky won't do: change settings, feature switches or logins; talk about prices, rates or payments; or act on instructions written in a customer's email.

Common questions

Has Sky changed my job?

No. Sky never changes anything on its own. A suggestion waits on Approvals, and a change card in the chat does nothing until you press its button.

Why won't Sky tell me what a job cost?

Sky doesn't do prices, rates, amounts billed or whether an invoice is paid. It can tell you whether a job is invoiced and its invoice number.

Why does Sky say it can't change anything for me?

Your login is read-only, so Sky only looks things up for you. Admins and schedulers can ask it to set up changes.

Sky picked the wrong job.

Sky should ask when more than one job could match. Give it the job number or the customer's reference to be sure.
