Cancel a job
Cancel a job but keep it for billing, mark it not to invoice, or delete it.
- On Operations, open the job card's ⋯ menu.
- Choose ⊘ Cancel (billable) and confirm. You can type a reason when asked.
- The card stays on the board, greyed out and marked CANCELLED, and disappears from the driver's app.
Other options in the same menu:
- 🚫 Do not invoice: the job still runs, but it closes without a bill.
- 🗑 Delete: hides a job booked by mistake from the board.
Common questions
Will a cancelled job still be invoiced?
Yes. Cancel (billable) keeps it for invoicing with billable time stopped at the moment you cancelled. Use Do not invoice if the customer shouldn't be charged.
Can I undo a cancellation?
Yes, with ⋯ → Undo cancel, as long as the invoice hasn't already gone to Xero.
