For admins · Feature: Subcontractors

First, add the subcontractor's drivers under Settings → Drivers. See Add your drivers.

  1. Open Settings and choose Subcontractors.
  2. Press + Add subcontractor.
  3. Fill in the Business name and ABN. Choose the Pay basis (Hourly, % of job revenue or Flat per job) and type their Rate for that pay basis.
  4. Add their Address, Email, BSB and Account number, and any Trucks they run.
  5. Tick Registered for GST if they are, and Pass tolls through to pay them the tolls on their jobs.
  6. Under Their drivers, tick each of their drivers. Press Save.
  7. Open the Agreement tab. Fill in Signed on and Review by, attach the Signed copy if you have it, and press Record agreement.

Before your first pay run, press ⚙ RCTI settings and add Your legal name and Your ABN. They print on every RCTI.

Only admins can see Subcontractors.

Common questions

How does a subcontractor's driver get on the driver app?

Add the driver under Settings → Drivers with their mobile number, like any other driver. They sign in with that number and see only their own jobs.

How do I give a subcontractor a job?

Put one of their drivers on the job, the same as any job. Jobs their drivers do are paid to the subcontractor.

Why does it say Payment statement instead of RCTI?

An RCTI needs a signed agreement in force and a GST-registered ABN. Without both, the subcontractor gets a payment statement, which isn't a tax invoice.

Can a driver belong to two subcontractors?

No. Each driver can drive for one active subcontractor.
