Text drivers about their jobs
Send drivers a text when a job is booked, changed or cancelled for them.
- Open Settings and choose Drivers from the side menu.
- Find the Driver job texts card and turn its switch on.
From then on, a driver gets a text from the office phone when a job is booked for them, when it's changed or cancelled, and when they're taken off it. Each text says to check the driver app for details, and ends with how to opt out.
The text goes to the mobile number on the driver's details. Turn the switch off to stop all job texts.
Only admins can switch it on or off.
Common questions
Do drivers still get the app notification?
Yes. The text is sent as well as the app notification, not instead of it.
A driver replied STOP.
They won't get job texts again. They can still sign in with a texted code.
Does it cost extra?
Yes. Texts are a paid extra on the Pro plan and up. Nothing is texted until you switch it on.
