Make jobs from a booking PDF
Upload a customer's booking PDF and TrakkHQ fills in the Add Job form for each job in it.
- On the ops board, press ＋ Add Job, then 📄 Upload PDF at the top of the form, and choose the PDF.
- TrakkHQ reads it. If it has one job, the form fills in with that job.
- If it has several, a list shows each job's date, client, reference and route. Press Open on one.
- Check the form against the PDF: client, PL / PO #, date, vehicle, stops and load. Fix anything that's wrong.
- Press Create Job. The list comes back with that job marked ✓ Created. Open the next one.
- When you're done, press Finished with this PDF.
Uploading needs an admin or scheduler login.
Common questions
Is anything booked as soon as I upload?
No. Each job opens in the Add Job form. Nothing is booked until you check it and press Create Job.
It says the PDF has no text to read.
It's probably a scan or a photo. Add the job by hand for now.
Is there a size limit?
Yes, 10 MB. A very long PDF is only read for its first pages, and the list tells you to check nothing is missing.
The client is blank but the PDF names a company.
TrakkHQ couldn't match the name to one of your clients. The Client box shows what the PDF says; pick the right client.
