Link with another company on TrakkHQ
Link with a customer or carrier that also uses TrakkHQ, so one of you can send the other jobs.
Use this when a customer or carrier you work with also uses TrakkHQ. Only admins can link companies.
- Open Settings and choose Linked companies.
- To have them link with you, press Copy next to Your linking code and send it to them.
- To link with them, type their code under Enter their code. Choose They deliver our jobs or We deliver their jobs. If you deliver their jobs, pick Which of your clients are they? Then press Link.
- The link shows under Your links as Waiting on them until the other company accepts.
- When a company asks to link with you, its row says Wants to link. If they'll send you jobs, pick the client they are from Pick a client…, then press Accept or Decline.
Once the row says Linked, jobs can be sent across it from the ops board.
Tip: to invite a customer who isn't on TrakkHQ yet, open them on the Clients page and press Copy sign-up link on the Sign-up link card. When they sign up through it, they're linked with you straight away as that client.
Common questions
What can the other company see once we're linked?
Only the jobs one of you sends the other and their paperwork, and the status, ETA link and POD that go back to the sender. Your other clients and jobs, your rates, margins and driver pay, and your drivers' details and GPS history never cross.
Why does it ask which of my clients they are?
When you deliver their jobs, the jobs they send you come in as that client. Pick the client you already have for them.
I made a new code. Do my links stop working?
No. The old code stops working for new links, but links you already have stay.
How do I stop a link?
Press End link on its row. Nothing new can be sent across it. Jobs already sent stay on the board.
